So I now officially have my MOST embarrassing moment as a Mom....we were at the once a year Base Picnic, and Paige out of nowhere pulled down her panties and pooped on the grass. OH MY GOSH....first, I can't tell you why she did it. There were bathrooms all around and it was at a park she goes to all the time. There were lots of people around, but come on!!!! I am mortified, and going over with a baggie in front of a crowd to pick up crap that my CHILD left behind is something I don't think I will recover from for a while. I am seriously a wreck. Please tell me something like this has happened to you.....

I just ordered some ridiculously expensive (for me anyway) soap...but I have heard amazing things about it. It is called the Wonderbar....check it out! And I will be reporting back what I think about it all soon enough....fingers crossed!

I took one of my husband's shirts that he never wears...actually this one was a hand-me-down from my brother....

then I traced out the basic shape...I just laid one of my favorite blouses on top of it and traced around...

then sewed up the sides, added a few ruffles (ruffling is fun, and soooo easy), and hemmed the bottom...and voila'!



( As a disclaimer, I would like to say that I think these photos are terrible, but I was too excited and took them late at night...I can't wait to make like 5 more of these.)
