Justin and I went on a date this weekend for the first time in 11 months? BAD, I know, but it has been such a challenge for us....bed rest, new baby....I know things will get better as River gets older. It was a HUGE deal to leave River for the first time...but I am glad we just went ahead and did it, especially with Justin having been gone 2 out of the last 4 months. We went to this great little place called the Steelhead Grill, and it was so much fun. We both felt a little naked without a kid ON us...but it was fun to hold hands and not have to wipe any body's nose for 2 hours. I really believe in date night...and can't wait for it to be a regular occurrence.
That sounds like so much fun!! Good for you guys. I bet you enjoyed carrying a purse instead of a diaper bag, I know I do on those rare occasions :)
