Just thought I would share...I got mastitis recently...NOT FUN! I had a temp if 103.6, and almost gave up breastfeeding altogether...BUT, we are ok now and back on track! I am glad I stuck with it! Anyone else had this???
OH those pictures are so cute! What beautiful kids. Yes I had mastitis and it was KILLER, so miserable. I don't think Ruby was even a month old when I got it. On top of being exhausted with a new baby and then having that, I honestly remember thinking that I wanted to die. Here's to a speedy recovery!
I've had mastitis too many times to count. It's horrible and would make any one want to quit nursing. Is this the first time you've had it? If so, you'll be able to prevent it from happening again (or getting too bad).
Once you start to feel the signs, start with the warm compresses and massage. Hopefully you'll be able to fight it off before it gets too bad.
